Syrop jest intensywny i słodki, dlatego do picia proponujemy rozcieńczać go z wodą w stosunku 10:1. Nadaje wyjątkowy aromat herbatom, a dodając wodę z lodem otrzymamy domową lemoniadę. Syrop cytrynowy świetnie sprawdza się również, jako polewa do kasz, budyniu, naleśników, placuszków, racuszków, omletów, lodów i innych deserów. Sorbet wykonany z syropu jest również godny polecenia.
